The language of the conference will be English. |
General Arrangement of the
Conference
ICMAA-2007 will be held in sessions arranged according to individual
mechanisms and categories of inhibitors. The scientific program
will consist of keynote address /plenary lectures and invited
and contributed oral presentations. A separate session for poster
presentations will be arranged. Either 25 min. or 15 min., including
discussion, will be allotted for the oral presentations. Several
awards will be given to those who give an outstanding poster presentations. |
Expected Attendants
We anticipate a wide spectrum of delegates, ranging from those
academia, hospitals, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and food industries,
government institutes, etc. |
Poster Sessions
Many young investigators, including students and trainees, prefer
a poster presentation. For other attendants, a selection between
poster presentation and oral communication will be made after
receipt of abstracts. |
Audiovisuals
Unless specifically requested, we encourage the use of computer
assisted presentation (e.g., PowerPoint). USB or CD-ROM should
be submitted to the technical assistants in the Preview room
at least 4 h before the start of the session. |
Invitation Letters
Upon request, the ICMAA-2007 organizers will send an invitation
letter in order to facilitate institutional approval and fund
raising for attendance to the conference. However, this letter
will not represent per se a commitment by the organizers to
provide any financial support or to accept any specific presentation. |
Publication of Conference
Abstracts and Proceedings
All abstracts of both oral and poster presentations will be
published in the Conference Abstract Book. The Proceedings of
the conference will be published in a special issue of the appropriate
journal. |
Medical Assistance
Medical assistance is available at the conference venue. |
Climate
The temperature in Jeju at that time of the year is usually
around 10”ĘC. The weather is usually fine, but rain and showers
are possible. |
Electricity
Electrical appliances work at 220 Volts. |
Currency and Cards
The official currency in Korea is Korean Won. Other currencies
can be converted into Korean Won at airports, railway stations,
banks, hotels, and exchange offices. The most of major credit
cards are widely accepted at hotels, restaurants, and shops.
Travel check can be cashed in banks. |
Post-Offices
There are a number of post-offices in the areas of the airports,
railway stations, and hotels. |
